Corn Roast 2009


A day postponement due to heavy rain and 95+ temperatures and high humidity didn't deter
over 175 friends and neighbors from attending the annual DACA Corn Roast.

Games were again a hit as Stan Klein (and his whistle) organized games of sack races,
three-legged races, and other ball games. In between games and food, kids were treated to
face painting and a tried for prizes at the lollipop pull.

This year we added a Pie Eating contest for the young and "older" kids. Chocolate pudding
with whipped cream is always a hit!

successful.
