Corn Roast 2007
50th Anniversary Celebration! The 2007 Corn Roast celebrated our sub-divisions' 50th Anniversaries. Over 250 neighbors and community members came together in Devon-Aire Park to have fun, share stories, meet new friends and of course, eat corn! A memory table was set up to display newsletters dating from 1955 to current. Many life-long residents also provided pictures of the area to display. Games were again a hit as Stan Klein (and his whistle) organized games of sack races, three-legged races, and other ball games. In between games and food, kids were treated to face painting and a tried for prizes at the lollipop pull. Our chefs, Joan and Ed Zaminski and Don Knapp, did a great job grilling up a hot dog feast!
